Giving Tuesday 2017
Dear valued MARL supporter,
The team at MARL is hard at work! We’re spreading human rights education within classrooms all over the province of Manitoba. We’re engaging with the general public through numerous community events, whether it is our in-class workshops, public talks or our High School Ethics Bowl.
Our organization’s ability to continue to operate is due in large part to the support of individual donors who believe in our mission and vision. GivingTuesday is an important day for giving back to the community and contributing to our movement. I ask that you take some time to consider donating to MARL and support our initiatives that contribute to meaningful change in our community.
A couple of things to know about MARL. We are an official registered charity, so tax receipts will be issued with each donation. Secondly, we receive our core funding from the United Way of Winnipeg and the Winnipeg Foundation. This covers things like salary and rent, which means that every dollar you donate goes directly to supporting our educational programming.
Be a part of the movement, and help make sure every Manitoban’s diversity is valued, liberties are respected, and rights are lived!
Thanks for your support!
Cheers,
Evan Maydaniuk
