Ethics Slam 2018 – Thank You!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Annual Ethics Slam on Thursday, January 18th, including our competing teams, who all made some excellent discussion points, our judges, the fantastic and participatory audience, and the volunteer organizers!

Congrats to the night’s winner: Ceci N’est Pas Un Équipe!

We love throwing events like the Ethics Slam because we believe it is increasingly important to come together as a community, to grow our collective ability to discuss complex issues, utilizing research, critical thinking, and ethically-based dialogue. While human rights and civil liberties issues and beliefs do not sit together perfectly, discussing issues from an ethical standpoint allows us to find common ground in different points of view on various topics that affect our daily lives – all while having some fun together!
