Following the fascinating trek of Dr. Spencer Wells, an explorer in residents at National Geographic, students explore the roots of ‘race’ and how that connects to information found in DNA through the Journey of Man documentary (120 min, available online or at Winnipeg Public Library). They explore the impacts of this new understanding of the origins and journey of race and how that could potentially change discrimination and racism.
